Google Business Profile audit

Your listing shows a fraction of what you do.

We read your website, compare it field by field against your live Google profile, and show you the exact edits — before a single one is written.

You'll need to connect the Google account that manages your Business Profile. The audit reads your live listing, so there is no version of this that runs without it.

The gap

Your website already says it. Your profile doesn't.

  1. Services

    Now3 services listed

Proposed18 services, each named and described

Written from the pages you already publish — nothing invented.

  2. Description

    NowEmpty

ProposedA description in your own words

Left empty, Google fills the gap with whatever it infers about you.

  3. Primary category

    NowGeneral contractor

ProposedThe specific category you belong in

With the reasoning attached, so you can disagree and skip it.

  4. Attributes

    NowUnset

    ProposedEvery attribute worth setting, listed

These are the filters customers use to narrow a result list.

Every line above is a field the audit actually checks. Example values shown — yours come back with your own.

Your profile is not a listing. For most of the people searching for you, it is the page — the only one they will ever read.

The sequence

See the change before it goes live

  1. 01

    Connect Google — required

Sign in with the account that manages your Business Profile and pick the listing. Nothing runs before this, and access stays read-only until you approve an edit.

  2. 02

    We read both sides

Your site, your live listing, and the profiles ranking near you. About a minute, then every difference comes back as a field with a value.

  3. 03

    You tick what goes live

One checkbox per field. Safe edits and risky ones — name, category, address, phone — are sent as separate updates, so a rejection on one never takes the other down.

What comes back

Findings that name the field

  • A score with its working shown — every point tied to a field that is set, weak, or missing.
  • A before and after per field — the current value, the proposed one, and why.
  • The local pack you sit in — how the profiles ranking near you are filled in.
  • Post drafts and attributes — ready to copy over, or to write with the rest.
  • A snapshot taken before any write — your rollback copy of the whole profile.

$100once, per profile

The audit is free, and so is seeing everything it found. You pay once — only when you want the optimized profile written to Google.

  • Your full optimized profile, written from your own website
  • Field-by-field approval — you tick what goes live
  • A snapshot of the profile before any write, kept as your rollback copy
  • Safe changes and risky changes sent as separate updates
  • Attributes worth setting, plus Google Post drafts to copy over

Requires connecting your Google account. No subscription, no retainer, no account to cancel.

Before you connect

Questions people actually ask

Do I have to connect my Google account?

Yes — there's no version of this that works without it. The whole point is comparing your live Google Business Profile against your website, and only the account that manages that profile can read it. Access is read-only until you explicitly approve a change, and you can revoke it at any time from your Google account permissions page.

Why does Google show a warning when I connect?

Because this app is new and still in Google's verification review, the consent screen shows "Google hasn't verified this app." Click Advanced, then Go to GBP Optimizer. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page.

Can this break my listing?

We snapshot the full profile before any write and give you that snapshot as your rollback copy. Nothing is written without a ticked checkbox. Risky fields — name, category, address, phone — need their own explicit approval and are sent as a separate update from the safe ones, so a rejection on one never takes the other down with it.

What exactly do you change?

Description, services, attributes, hours and post drafts on the safe side. Business name, primary category, address and phone on the risky side — those can trigger Google re-verification, so they are opt-in per field. We never touch photos or reviews.

What does it cost?

The audit and the findings are free. Writing the optimized profile to Google is $100 once, for that profile. There is no recurring charge.

Do you post reviews or reply to them?

No. We never write, generate, solicit or reply to reviews, and we never upload photos — Google requires those to be genuine depictions of your business.

How long does it take?

About 60 seconds to read your site and draft the audit. Approving changes takes as long as you want to spend reading them; the write itself is immediate, though Google sometimes holds an edit for review before it appears publicly.

Run it on your own profile

Find out what your listing is missing

Connect the Google account that manages your Business Profile and the audit takes about a minute. Seeing everything it found costs nothing.

How we use your Google account. We read the profile you choose, show you the diff, and write only the changes you approve — through the official Google Business Profile API. Your data is never used for advertising or to train a model. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page.
